Who is he
My fathers true love was the sun, big meals, his garden, and of course his family. He loved to sit in his deck chair with his knotted handkerchief on his head and enjoy the rays of the sun. He grew tomotoes, passionfruit, roses and his fruit trees would give forth an abundance of apples, nectarines, pears.

He told me of a story that when he was stationed in Egypt during the 2nd world war, he had a pet lizard which he tied to the foot of the bed. It would keep the flies etc. away, until one day a fellow soldier sat on it and killed it...

Died 23rd August, 2000. Buried at Kelvin Grove lawn cemetery, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

We tucked dad into God's green earth and said goodnight. He will forever be in our hearts and minds. His inspiration, love and guidance will live on in his family.
